The Baroque Music Festival Ensemble, Camerata Ventapane, directed by Barrett Sills, joins forces this year with the Bach Society Houston choir, directed by Albert LeDoux to present an extraordinary concert of cantatas. Artistic director Barrett Sills has also invited Grammy nominated director of Ars Lyrica Houston, Matthew Dirst, to accompany the Ensemble on the harpsichord for the grand finale performance. The Accademia Bizantina from Italy showcases the enchanting repertoire of Angelo Corelli, lead by Music Director Dantone and concertmaster Stefano Montanari, who collaborate in full harmony fusing together the best of their human and artistic qualities.

Israeli keyboard specialist Michael Tsalka, will transport the audiences to an age of elegance and nobility, with a special concert demonstrating the evolution of early keyboard instruments (clavichord, harpsichord, and square piano). A special Command Performance of music written for lute and voice will chant you with Milan's Michael Leopold on lute & Theorbo, accompanied by Germany's Lorenz Miehlich (baritone).

World-class musicians, playing outstanding programs makes each concert a unique experience that contributes to making the whole festival an unforgettable week for all participants.
